The Chicago Traffic Law Group defends clients in all Cook County Courthouses

The Circuit Court of Cook County of the State of Illinois is the largest of the 24 judicial circuits in Illinois and one of the largest unified court systems in the world. It has more than 400 judges who serve the 5.1 million residents of Cook County within the City of Chicago and its 126 surrounding suburbs. More than 1 million cases are filed each year. All Cook County Courthouses can be reached by public transportation.

The Traffic Division for the First Municipal District handles traffic tickets within the city limits of Chicago. The Division is responsible for the maintaining records and the collecting fees and fines for all cases involving City of Chicago moving violations. The Division DOES NOT hear matters relating to parking tickets or other non-moving violation tickets. The District 1 Traffic Division handles 750,000 cases on average annually.
